Farmwise is an agricultural management platform operated by White Rabbit Agro Ltd, registered in Nigeria. Our platform provides farm management tools for individual farmers, cooperatives, government agencies, and agribusinesses. We collect the following categories of data when you use Farmwise: Account & Identity Data: Your name, phone number, email address, National Identification Number (NIN), date of birth, and profile photograph where provided. Farm & Plot Data: GPS coordinates and boundary polygons for your farm plots, soil type, irrigation method, land ownership details, and plot size. Production Records: Crop type and variety, planting dates, growing activities (fertilisation, pest control, irrigation, etc.), harvest records, yield data, and quality grades. Livestock, Aquaculture & Apiary Records: Species, herd size, housing type, health and vaccination history, pond details, and beehive inspection records. Financial Data: Loan application details, repayment history, income and expense records, and credit assessment data. Location Data: GPS coordinates captured during field mapping and activity logging. Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system, app version, and usage logs collected to improve platform performance.

We use your data to: — Provide and operate the Farmwise platform and all its features — Calculate your farm credit score based on the eight-factor model disclosed at sign-up — Enable your cooperative or organisation to manage their farmer network and contracts — Generate yield forecasts and agricultural recommendations — Process loan applications submitted through the platform — Send notifications about farm activities, inspection schedules, and contract milestones — Improve platform performance and fix technical issues — Comply with applicable Nigerian law and regulatory requirements

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances: Your Organisation or Cooperative: If you are registered under a cooperative or organisation on Farmwise, that organisation's administrators and assigned field agents can view your farm records, production data, and activities. This is necessary for the platform to function. Contract Counterparties: If you apply for or are approved onto a production contract, the contracting organisation will receive the farm data relevant to assessing and tracking that contract. Loan Providers: If you apply for a farm loan through the platform, the lender will receive your credit score, farm records, and relevant financial history. Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform (cloud infrastructure, email delivery). These providers process data only on our instructions and are bound by data processing agreements. Legal Requirements: We may disclose data where required by Nigerian law, court order, or regulatory authority.

Farmwise uses industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), role-based access controls that ensure users only see data relevant to their role, and secure cloud infrastructure with regular backups. Despite these measures, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. We recommend using a strong, unique password for your Farmwise account and not sharing your login credentials with others.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services. If you close your account, we will retain a limited set of records for the period required by Nigerian law and for dispute resolution purposes. Farm records associated with active loan or contract obligations will be retained until those obligations are fully resolved.

The Farmwise marketing website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our pages. This uses cookies to collect anonymised usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The Farmwise farmer app and dashboard do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users via the platform or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Farmwise after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
